Welsh Primary School ‘Net Zero’ STEM Competition

Age Range: Primary

The RAF has a very ambitious Net Zero policy and we are keen to fire the imagination of the next generation to help us. We are asking the primary students of Wales to come up with an idea to help the RAF become more environmentally friendly and to reduce our carbon footprint.

The competition, launched by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sir Mike Wigston, in Cardiff on 16 Sep is open to all Primary Schools in Wales for students in Reception through to Year 6.

Entry to the competition is free with a deadline for all submissions of 1 December 2021. Details of how to enter are provided in both Welsh and English below; we are very happy to receive entries in either language, or indeed both!

As well as individual prizes for students, the winning school from each age category will receive a day of free STEM engagement activities delivered by our team.
